Many, if not most, orthodox circles adopt the FLOP system to divide the costs among the two sides. Simply put, in the this method the groom's side, in addition to the personal expenses, will be responsible for the (F)lowers, the (L)iquor, the (O)rchestra, and the (P)hotographer / Video, while the bride's side will take care of the Hall / Catering in addition to the personal expenses.
